“Ise, formerly called Ujiyamada, is a city in central Mie Prefecture, on the island of Honshū, Japan. Ise is home to Ise Grand Shrine, the most sacred Shintō shrine in Japan.
“Okayama is the capital city of Okayama Prefecture in the Chūgoku region of Japan. The city is the site of Kōraku-en, known as one of the top three traditional gardens in Japan, and Okayama Castle. The city is famous as the setting of the Japanese fable Momotarō.
“Fukuyama City is located in southeastern Hiroshima Prefecture. The centre of the city is located in the Fukuyama Plain, which has been built by land reclamation projects since the Edo period [1603-1868]. Fukuyama Castle, sometimes called Hisamatsu Castle or Iyō Castle, was the castle of the Bingo-Fukuyama Han during the Edo period of Japanese history.”
