Photos of England (April 2019 – Part 1)

Images of Worcester, Bristol and Puzzlewood (in the Forest of Dean) in England. Taken in April 2019.

“Worcester is a city in Worcestershire. The River Severn flanks the western side of the city centre, which is overlooked by Worcester Cathedral.

“Bristol borders North Somerset and South Gloucestershire, with the cities of Bath and Gloucester to the south-east and north-east, respectively. South Wales lies across the Severn estuary.

“Puzzlewood is an ancient woodland site and tourist attraction, near Coleford in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. The site, covering 14 acres (5.7 ha), shows evidence of open cast iron ore mining dating from the Roman period, and possibly earlier.”
