Vaduz Cathedral and Royalty.

“Vaduz Cathedral, or Cathedral of St. Florin, is a neo-Gothic church and the centre of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vaduz. Originally a parish church, it has held the status of cathedral since 1997. It was built in 1874 by Friedrich von Schmidt on the site of earlier medieval foundations. Its patron saint is Florinus of Remüs (Florin), a 9th-century saint of the Vinschgau Valley.

“Franz Joseph II, Prince of Liechtenstein (Franz Joseph Maria Aloys Alfred Karl Johannes Heinrich Michael Georg Ignaz Benediktus Gerhardus Majella; 16 August 1906 – 13 November 1989) was the Sovereign Prince of Liechtenstein from 1938 until his death.

“On 7 March 1943, at Vaduz, Franz Joseph II married Georgine (‘Gina’) Countess of Wilczeck (24 October 1921 – 18 October 1989). They had five children.”
