Söge Pigs, Bremen.

The bronze pig sculptures are known as the ‘Sögeschweine’. They are located on Sögestrasse, at the corner where Knochenhauerstrasse and Schüsselkorb meet.

“Erected in 1974 by sculptor Peter Lehmann, these sculptures commemorate the historical practice of herding pigs along ‘Saustrasse’ (Pig Street), now known as Sögestrasse, from farms to the market during medieval times.”
